GANNET is fully equipped for sea angling day charters.
We fish over
the wrecks in the area for pollack and saithe, the usual dogfish
and congers. We have had quite a few more unusual fish - wrasse,
scorpion fish and so on. In the summer there are usually mackerel
about. We use blast frozen mackerel as bait, some of our regulars
bring squid with them.
The area is very varied, we fish over wrecks, in some more open
water, and over deep rocks and caves. The scenery is magnificent and
we enjoy the changing colours throughout the year. Any trip is
weather permitting but we can often find sheltered spots to fish in
poorer weather.
Beginners and novices are very welcome as the Skipper is on hand with help and advice.
